I have a picture of a movie ticket box office and I want to put two people in the window and make it look like they are standing behind the glass...

Any ideas on how to create that effect?

Much appreciated.

Hi --Usually its done with a white gradient over the glass area sometimes putting a tiny blur on objects behind it.. Takes some tinkering to get it right. Study what happens in reality and try to re-create nearly as possible (I learned that from Mark - the keeper)

You can also try to layer an image on top of the glass and make it VERY faint to mimick a reflection (whatever the scenery would be behind you as the viewer). Combine that with the white gradient and that should get you close. And I second (and third and fourth) the tip about looking at a real life situation to see what you're trying to replicate...
