Illustrator make diamond shape more attractive/ pop

Hi, anybody any ideas of how to maximise impact of my diamond design? i've added the ai file for it, it will only open in cs6.

All designs are very subjective and too it depends on how you intend to use it. I think it looks better using a gradient fill and a stroke, but ultimately it's your decision.

thanks hawkeye, no definite plan for it yet, just looking for a few suggestion to make it stand out, i do like the gradient though thanks
