Hello again !

here is a picture of a car which I want to lower a bit. The gap between the tires and the car should be decreased. Is it possible in CS5? Please also let me know how to do it.

Cheers!

The easy way would be to make a selection of the car body and copy onto a new layer and re position it
Then unlock the background layer and transform it by bringing down the height until the bodies line up again.

I could but this is no way to learn especially as in your request you said and I quote "here is a picture of a car which I want to lower a bit"

you have photoshop so try and learn how to use it otherwise you will never learn how to use such a great program and you would have wasted your money buying it.

You know the saying give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, Give a man a fishing rod and he can eat for life. Same applies if we just do your requests for you then you will never learn.

At least try and do it and post your results we will be happy to help you out.

In all honesty does it need to be precise you are dealing with mostly dark colours so you can mask out dodgey parts mine was only done with quick select then make the brush smaller to deselect around the wheels.

If you want to select better then learn the pen tool or try the magnetic lassoo tool

ok I managed to select it... AFTER this I create a new layer? and how to paste on to a new layer as the options is blanked out for paste.
