looking for some advice

I have been doing photoshop for a couple months now, using a friends CS5. It is a very hard program to use and to remember. I am looking at getting Photoshop either cs5 ( can't find any) cs6 or cc ( with lightroom $9.99 a month for 12 months).

The next part is where Im more unsure. I have a 27 inch brand new in January 2013, I also run parallels to use on a few programs. My friends has cs5 on a pc and works well, my ex had it on a mac and the pic look better but found it more complicated on Mac.

what version would people recommend

I recommend that you get the most current version available. CC for $9.99.

thanks, that's the way I was leaning, but not sure if I should get if for pc and run it on parallels on my mac or the mac version.

you can use it on 2 computers so doesnt really matter in fact I have my subscription working fine on both my desktops and 2 laptops, all though I did have trouble at first which may be why they have allowed me to have it on 4 computers as to the 2 they state per subscription.

It does not matter which platform you use it on either so you can have a mac version and a pc version that is the beauty of cc
