Hi everyone. I am on a bit of a shamless help hunt. Can anyone any good at photoshop help me. I am not good enough to get this right. I am trying to get the shadow on our hands evened out and make this pic better. It would really mean a lot. its me and my step son who has Autism and is currently a long way away from us. Dont want to go into the ins and outs but I took this today and would be great if anyone could help improve this.

I'll try and fix this for you. Others feel free to do it also.
Here is what I did. Unfortunately the fingers were so blown (overexposed) that there was little detail and they were almost white. Here is what I managed to do.
