Anyone have any suggestions on good reference books, like to have hard copy of help stuff and also any good magazine subs out there?

No problem!

If your asking about what I prefer as far as reference, I like tutorial sites, much easier to follow and understand.

In the past I would buy as many books on a particular subject as I could. What I found was that I never opened them............ever. I always found the internet a much faster resource than trying to find answers in the books or magazines.

I bought Cory Barkers down and dirty tricks. What I discovered was that he had made an online video tutorial of almost all the tricks and tips that were in the book. It was a waste of money.

Don't get me wrong I love books and reading, as we live in the information age, tips, tricks, and answers are just seconds away through the internet. But, what if the internet was gone? Guys like me would be in trouble!

Look up Scott Kelby......Books and Video.....great resource, Have his hardcopy next to my workstation

Thank you for the replies, I bought the photoshop magazine from the UK at the bookstore, expensive not sure if this is what I need to keep getting, I like reference books etc...
