Hi,

is there allready a tutorial to make medals? I have a gamesite and I want to make the awards or medals.

Thanks

what kind of medals are you after can you post an example 2d or 3d looking novelty shaped or square/round badges ???

Ok we are getting there what programs do you have to make these,
Photoshop
Illustrator
Gimp
MS Paint
cinema 4d

etc pointless a tutorial being made or found for illustrator if you dont have access to it or any of the programs.

Ok well I think your best of starting off with custom shapes here are some that will get you started and if you google photoshop custom shapes they probably have a shape that you like. and then maybe build up shapes to make your finished badge. http://www.shapes4free.com/photoshop-custom-shapes/photoshop-badge-shapes/

I would recommend doing this kind of work in illustrator if you dont want to use shapes as they have a very customisable star tool that will get you the basic shapes of the last 2 images you provided.

and here are some trophy shapes

I am off out now so dont have time to make a tutorial indepth on creating these shapes yourself and after skimming youtube the 1s available are quite advanced.

I apologise the above link is to shutterstock paid images thats my fault I did a quick search and didnt read it properly but same thing applies do a google search for trophy shapes I am sure you will find something.

Hoogle...

I'm just opening Ai now. I could knock up some shapes and add them in the resource section for all to use.
