[looking for a pro] I need images changes to drawings

I have a series of about 80 images or so and I'd like them to be somehow traced and turned into cartoon black and white drawings (if possible). I posted an example of the images that I'd like to turn into black and white coloring book style figures. can anyone help me figure out how to do it?

I'm not a completely new to photoshop but I've definitely tried playing with the filters but couldn't get it quite right, if anyone can help, greatly appreciated.

ok, sorry about the link. I didn't realize they put that link in there like that, I removed it. (I copied and pasted that forum link as their website suggested to do, should have known).

I'd like to get some tips on how to do it myself if possible

I suggest you state what version your using I just opened it up in CS5 and the threshold filters worked pretty good without any particular area selected, just all of it a few tweaks in your selection should do it using threshold in my opinion but images are so subjective, only you can decide where your going with it

I have only photoshop cs4 but I guess I could try downloading the trial version of cs5 to see if it's actually any better or not

Ya, it totally does not work very well, hahaha

Anyone have a better tactic for me to try?

can you show an example of what you're shooting for?

are you trying to do something like find edges filter?

Thanks for that, it looks great. It turns out I don't need line drawing images afterall, i'm just going to stick with the originals
