[SUP]Right then, here goes. my name is Jamie and I am running a small publishing software house exclusively for Commodore 64 (younger readers might want to check Wikipedia). I have been running Flimsoft since July 2012. I have published a couple of games so far (yes people are still buying them!!), what I am looking for is perhaps an amateur Photoshopper to design some inlay displays for 5.25" or cassettes. I have done Alien Bash 2 and soon to release Little Sara Sister Trilogy (this month). I have basic - average skills on Photoshop. Check Google for Flimsoft. so what I am looking for is somebody who could do this for me in order to make my games look more attractive - Commodore 64 games aren't right without a good cover. I can't offer much but think it would be a good project for someone who has a lot of free time and likes to keep busy. I can make sure that your name is mentioned in magazines amongst other things (check news section on website for magazine articles). If you are interested in giving me a hand - please PM me :) Many thanks, Jamie[/SUP]

Hmm, it certainly wouldn't meet the payment requirements for freelance though.
With the ammount of time you need to put in.

no definitely not lol , i guess you have to really photoshop to appreciate what needs to be paid , im putting in a lot of hours now , trick now is to get better and faster using more tools that make things quicker

looks like too much work and time for not a lot . good luck with the games though mate , i remember them

Hi there, thanks for your replies, I think freelance would be a good start. But like I said, the budget would be so low on this, the literally I would be looking for someone to take this project on as a hobby and for someone who enjoys doing something like this. Like I said, I have been in magazines, so in future publications I can get the artists name mentioned which could be great on a CV.

Welcome to the forum , Filmsoft.

No harm moving this to freelance.

The forum freelance design charges are reasonable. Visit this thread to get an idea.... http://www.photoshopgurus.com/forum...-posting-freelance-job-please-read-first.html

There may be members here who may want to take on your offer and would want to negotiate with you on a fair price.

As always the SOP, qualified freelancers should make initial contact by posting their interest in this thread.

Good luck.

Haha the good olde C64 days, I remember them like it was yesterday....

I'm quite interested in helping you out.

I used to play a game called Chuckie Egg on my spectrum. It was released the same year I was born, but lasted really well till sonic and super mario bros.

How about you post some of the covers you like.
So we can see what kind of things you're looking for?
