Went to an auction today and picked up something pretty cool. I picked up a Polaroid SX-70 Model 3 Land Camera for just $1.00. Far as I know it works, I don't know where I can buy film for it to really test it. It has a small chip in one corner, but other than that it appears to be in decent shape. I haven't decided weather or not I'm going to keep it or not. I've seen them on ebay going for good money, but I don't think mine is worth that much. Either way I think I got something really cool today. Also picked up a Canon camcorder, paid $11 for it but I'm keeping it.

Very cool, for a dollar I'd keep it.
I used to have one and maybe still do.
I need to open a few boxes in the attic.

I think you can still buy the film, Google will let you know.

For just a dollar, THAT'S THE STEAL OF THE CENTURY!!!!

I used to have that , too. Dunno whether it's still among my stuff back home. Gotta check one day if ever I get to go back to the old homestead.

It may be possible to find a specialist shop that supplies the film. Make a search for a dealer of compatible products by FUJIFILM .....

I looked around for film and the cheapest I could find is around $17 plus shipping. I don't have anyone around here that sells that kind of film (at least I don't think there is). With film being that much I doubt I'd get it. I really bought this to either keep as a collectible item (which it is) or to sell......well it's on ebay and for sale locally.

No harm to try see if it still works... ... adds more to the value if it does.... bad enough the corner nick reduced it's value a bit....

I really should but I don't know. The nick in the corner does affect the value some. Just hope it doesn't affect the value too much.

Very nice find Andrew. I used to have one of these...
A lot of memories of a very good time too, when I was still young!

Went to another auction over the weekend and walked out with a Canon AE-1 SLR camera with a 50mm lens and a 200mm lens. I don't know if the camera works or not yet, just got to get a battery to see if it works. It's a pretty cool camera, if film wasn't so expensive to develop I'd consider keeping it.
