Someone asked me to do a logo for a website that deals with crochet garden stuff. I dunno really, but seemed like a good challenge. It actually has been a challenge so far. I've gotten the basic design down and the client approves. I'm just now trying to come up with a good color scheme for it. The client wants blues, purples and greens. Not sure what I'm doing yet, but it will come to me sooner or later.

You could try using a gradient on separate layers I just did the fairy real quick, but it's an idea for youoddlyimpressive_i.gif

The lady wanted the colors a little darker so this is what I came up with. Tried to make it a little darker, but go too dark.

The green band through the middle of tink looks rough mate
 
I don't get the correlation between tinkerbell and the font/text?
 
Ask them for a reference to explain fancy. You know one mans fancy is another's mans .....
 
She wants swirls and shapes in with the logo and the fairy a little smaller. Already fixed the fairy, but nothing is coming to mind about the rest. Need a female perspective on this one, since the logo is for a female. Not to mention females will be the ones visiting the site the most, at least I don't know of any dudes who crotchet.

That attitude only goes to you failing my friend, some myself included see that as nothing more than male chauvinist claptrap.
 
Not sure what part would be male chauvinist claptrap. A female point of view would be helpful, and I don't know of any guys who crotchet. Doesn't mean there isn't any.
