Logo/ website title design help

Hey guys my name is Sean, I do not have any previous Photoshop experience and I am in a crunch to design a logo for a site I am creating called Daily Speed Feed. Basically this site is about everything fast, Super cars, jets, fast boats, you name it!

So I want to include the name in with the logo somehow but be able to have the logo distinguished separate from the site name. For instance

Daily Speed Feed as the name, with some customization with logo near or around


DSF short logo version
logo here


So things that come to mind are incorporating what the site is about within the website name, under it, around it, or above it.

Everything they have in common is speed, and.. what visual shows speed hmm. MPH.. that could be a good incorporation.

Like Daily Speed Feed with some sort of mph gauge behind it

700 x 120 or smaller would work. If anyone is willing to help me I'd really appreciate it. I'm going to post this now and hopefully I can chat with someone here and we can chime in on ideas and produce something really cool.

Asking someone to do your projects is not gonna work here. (Read The Rules) but maybe someone would love to do it but I doubt it if someone's gonna do it free for you.

I don't mind paying but I thought if I mentioned money I would get banned.

There are people here who work for free in their spare time as a hobby but you get tons of more interested people + much more variety and quality when there's coin. You should check out the 'freelancer' subforum on this forum.
