Logo Feedback Needed

This is a logo concept created for GraphicYak.com. Website is a future graphic and web design company.


I would love some constructive feedback to make this logo better. The things I have issues with are a) Finding a good way to combine the text and the Yak seamlessly and b) Does the green "beard" look to much like grass? Is there a better color scheme that you think would work?

Looks nice, good Yak illustration as well...

I feel the same with the beard, at first, I thought he was chewing grass lol. Also, if you could combine the "Graphic" with the "Yak" it would pack a better punch. Colour scheme is cool and the textures work well.

Good solid logo in my opinion.
