Ok so Im ready to accept that fact that maybe this font was a custom font used by the creators of this series but taking a chance on asking. Hoping its a standard font out there somewhere. If anyone has info please share. This was my favorite series back in the day when I was a young boy collecting cards and Id love to make some customs of my own.

Thanks

You have to do it separately for each word and not the entire string. Ken was set at -75 and Griffey at-50. In other cases, you might have to do it for each character. If it still doesn't look right, break it into separate letters on layers and manually ease each into place. Group it then merge.

i found one similar to what youre using. i got it looking decent but man this tail is going to be insane to make LOL

Looking good for a probable first try of yours. It's all in the wrist movement... practice , man, practice.

hahahaha i could never pull that off i found a free font that actually generates "tails" then just resized and connected it to the lettering

Use the Pentool to create the tail/line....

Using the Pen Tool would be the easiest way to accomplish this.

Place you text on one layer, add a new layer, use the Pen Tool to make the swoosh, stroke the path, then fill with white. Re-position if needed, then mask or erase the end connected to the last letter.
