I found this an issue on a google search but none of the solutions worked for me. Searched this forum but I may not have the correct keywords.
Okay, here are the details. Photoshop 24.5.0
Lightroom Classic 12.4
System info below. Issue is simple. I am in Lightroom. right click, edit in Photoshop, Photoshop will open but the photo never does. It has worked correctly since the beginning and this just started happened yesterday. I do not remember any updates nor have I added any other programs or changed any of the systems. I have reset Photoshop preferences then deleted and reinstalled. (Spent an hour putting my skies back together).
Thanks for taking time.
Hey, about some corn. Did you hear they opened a restaurant on the moon? Yep. Great food, no atmosphere.

I will let myself out.

Hi @BobbyC

So forum members can be more productive providing you suggestions, it would help to know all of the solutions you tired that you found online so no time is wasted giving suggestions for things you have already tried.

e.g. a commonly mentioned problem is if you have Smart Previews yet access to the full image is not available for some reason (e.g. on an external drive that is not attached)

Other info that would be useful is what type of files are you trying to bring over trom Lightroom to Photoshop that cause this problem (including if it is a Layered PSD file)

Also, to be on the same page, are you using the most recent version of ACR on both Lightroom and Photoshop (version 15.4 is the latest I think)

Also, in preferences in both Lightroom and Photoshop click the option to "Rest All Warning Dialogs." If the warning dialogs are hidden, then we might be missing important tips

Just some suggestions on some initial steps
