How do I get a big lettertype which I can fill up with a colour?

First, there are many ways to do this.

One easy way would be with layer styles. Type what you want, double click the layer and then use a stroke, gradient overlay, and a drop shadow/outer glow.

I just started Photoshop, but the problem is the language I think. So the English Photoshop terms dont sounds familiar. I think thats the problem. Im sorry for that

Download the Platinum text Photoshop Layer Style from the link provided above.
Open Photoshop. Click on WINDOW > STYLES.
Download de Platinum tekst Photoshop Layer Style uit de hierboven voorzien.
Open Photoshop. Klik op Venster> STYLES.



The STYLES Panel will show up here.
De STYLES panel zal hier verschijnen.

Click on the Panel Options tab in the top right hand corner of the Styles Panel.
Klik op het tabblad Panel Opties in de rechterbovenhoek van het deelvenster.



A drop down menu will appear and chose Load Styles.

Choose the file you downloaded.

Now use the slider to go to the bottom of your Styles Panel. (Black arrow)
And you will see the newly added layer style. (Red arrow)

Now that you have the layer style loaded you can apply it to any text you like.
