Filters Lens Correction Bug?

When I use the lens correction filter, the small yellow boxes that explain the various functions pop up and won't go away, even when I leave the filter. The only thing that makes them disappear is quitting Photoshop. I'm on a new iMac running High Sierra 10.13.1

If it's CC 2018 aren't they the 'tip boxes' and they can be disabled in preferences.

It's Photoshop CC version 14.0 and they are the tool tip boxes. But they won't go away. There's not a Tools option under my preferences, so I couldn't disable it that way.

Have you tried resetting PS preferences

Failing that it could be a graphics card issue, but I'm not a MAC user so I wouldn't be able to help you there

Why not upgrade to a more recent version of PS, CC2017 is very stable

P.S. your screenshot is tiny and very hard to see

Yes Ged, but this is about the usual tip boxes, and to be honest I can't even remember when they appeared...
