I edited the picture of the city first and thought that it may look good as an advertisement so I tried this out, tell me what you think

Good one.
I will say my opinion but I'm not expert in advertising..
You should add some smoke out of the airplane back...and maybe u need some fog to make airplane fit with the environment.
The left wing of the airplane isn't clear enough..but it should be lighted more than the rest of the airplane...as u made.

It's good, but it could be better. Try to add more details and tweaks. Then, a bit of Color Correction

not bad.. color looks a lil off but nice
