This is one of those "just making sure" posts
So I may be bidding on a small semi-ongoing project with a potential client and one of their requirements is that the project deliverables (PSD files) "be in MS Windows format, readable by Photoshop 7.0." So I'm interpreting that as said client needing the files to be read on a windows system using PS7.
Fine.
Now I haven't had to deal with legacy saving files in a VERY LONG TIME. Hell, I personally don't even KNOW anyone who has less than CS2. I know that in Photoshop CS2's preferences there's the option "Maximize PSD and PSB File Capability" which is supposed to allow earlier versions of PS to open files. I just want to make sure this is, in fact, the case. 'twould be quite embarrassing to get to the end and have them say "we can't open your files, bub!"
thanks in advance!
