I am trying to copy one image from a layer, into a layer mask, which contains one image already in the normal mask..
..I have used the select all, copy and paste, but this is not working!

I have my as level exam tomorrow, soo help would be appreciated tonight..

Alt Click

Select the layer you're copying from, press Ctrl A to Select all, and Ctrl C to copy.
Then select the layer mask on the other layer. Go into the layer mask by hovering the mouse over the layer mask icon in the layers palette and Alt clicking (aka, hold down Alt, and click the mask icon). The black and white layer mask will show up in the main image window. Press Ctrl V to paste it in. Sometimes you need to invert the layer mask with Ctrl I.
