k1ll, a photoshop cs5 newbie

Hello all... Just registered here today, I also just installed CS5 last night. I have used photoshop for small projects in the past and have been dying lately to get back into it and really learn some cool things. My creative juices are flowing but I'm being blocked by a lack of photoshop knowledge. Currently I'm working on creating custom DVD menus for my DVD collection and having a lot of fun/trouble with photoshop. Hope there are plenty of good times and much learning ahead for me here. If anyone can link me to some really rad newbie tutorials in this thread to make it simple to me, feel free to do so.

I've also posted a help question in the newbie forum if anyone cares to respond to that, it's a question on blending two photos together. I've tried a few tutorials since I posted it but I'm still not getting the result I'm looking for.
