Sure, I've started me stew already as well.... #5 of lamb bit and chunks on the hob as we speak, burbling softly to itself.

Potatoes in tomorrow, carrots, parsnips and onions on Tuesday, and then a few days to just sit and make the shanty oderiferous, indeed.

Bit of Porter on Thursday (and take the bay leaf out, if I can find the buggar!), peas in Friday nite late, an bit more salt and pepper and by Saturday, it'll be perfection itself.

God bless coal stoves.

(Youse Septics can do the same, just use a crock pot on low....)
