jpg image not showing up in get info window

In old Photoshop 5 on get info of a jpg the image would show but not in newer Photoshop's

How did you get that window? It does not provide any information about the file.

Here is how you get information through the "Info Panel" for any extension file that can be opened in PS.

Add to @polarwoc also good to go to INFO tab and click fly-out menu and click "Panel Options" and in "Info Panel Options" dialog panel check the boxes in "Status Information" you want to display in INFO panel.

I meant the "Get Info" Panel on the Mac. If I save the jpeg in newer Photoshop I just get the jpeg icon the the image.

Ah, so it is a Mac related query more than PS related. Hopefully someone who uses Mac can explain you.

I have 3 macs, 2 older and 1 new, and they are all the same.

I don't think that this is a Photoshop related issue. Have you recently updated your OS?

Why would you want to see such a tiny representation of the image anyway?

Just use the preview function of the "Get Info" window!!!!!

Yes upgraded OS, I have my reasons for this. If I save jpeg in newer than PS 5 I just get jpeg icon.
