I have 300dpi color images. Some have cloud with blue sky in them. When I look at them on the monitor they look fine. But, when printed on a color laser printer the sky has a somewhat orange cast. What can I do to fix this, if anything, and get the color laser print as accurate a reproduction of the digital image as possible?

Thanks in advance

Have you run the eyedropper over the problem areas? It may be a a few percent of yellow/magenta that you can't see on screen but that you can on the print. I'm assuming the unwanted colour is in the white cloud area. Try adjusting the white areas with selective colour - image > adjustments > selective colour (use an adjustment layer so you don't degrade the original and can keep adjusting) Select whites and lower the yellow and magentas, or whatever it needs.

I'm a cosmetologist, and one thing I learned in school was how to neutralize unwanted colors, lol! I'm new with Photoshop, so I couldn't tell you how to go about fixing that problem, but I can tell you that if you DO need to use the dropper or something to that effect, PURPLE neutralizes Orange =) Hope that helps as silly as it seems!
