Japanese Theme Manipulation

Thanks a lot guys...

Don't know why there is a thumbnail attachment though, the thumbnail was the first one i did but didn't like the look of it so i edited the post and put the one i liked up in it's place, just thought the cracks on the paper were not right so re did it, but the thumbnail still there for the post before editing.. any way at least you can see the before and the remake why i changed it, it looked to crowded and thought i really didn't do a good job on the cracks so binned them all together.

Her's one for you guys... the dragon stock i found at the time when i started this work was some time ago and couldn't find or remember where i got it from... when searching for the scroll i came across the link for the dragon so i used that link for attribution.. however it was bugging me at the legality of that stock as i seem to remember at the back of my mind that the dragon was else where...

Then i searched and searched again and found the original place i got it from which was here

http://openclipart.org/detail/15011/dragon-vector-art-1-by-samuraiagency-15011

Now according to open clip art . org, ALL CLIP ART is uploaded by the provider who states the work is his and placed in the public domain and free of all copyright.

Yer the provider on Deviant art says its his stock... what should i do ?... I assume that as i found the stock in the public domain that should be no come back to me over the use of the image even if he changes his stock rules in the future...

Should i contact deviant or the stock provider over this or just leave it..????

Thank you.

The attached thumbnail is usually a result of posting an image, editing it in simple edit and deleting the image. Attachment manager still shows it as being there so it attaches. You need to go into edit>advanced mode. Some of us have problems with losing all paragraph breaks which sucks since you have to redo them, but oh well. So scroll down to where it says manage attachments, click and go to the window which will show your online images. Check the box and it will popup something like delete this image OK? Check yes, then go back to your edit box and delete the image you still see -- o/w you'll still have that goofy attachment number with an invalid link.

Really nice work btw!

Depends I'd say on the rules that the deviantart artist provides. He/she wants credit, I'd give it.

Incidentally, I'd also provide the artist with the name/site of the free stock provider unless there is copyright infringement involved there.
