Hi I'm new to CS4 having just made the jump after having elements 3, 5 and 7. I still have 5 and 7 installed on my computer and both have photos in them. Some or the same as 7 imported 5 photos but not all. All photos or backed up on another HDD. I would like to remove the element programs as I want to give my sister elements 7. But first I need to move or import the photo to CS4. I believe that Bridge is the photo gallery in CS4 so that means moving them to Bridge if I'm right. Or does Bridge just use folder with photos from my HD? I have 2 500 gb WD HD in my computer. All my programs or in the C drive and my E drive is where I store all my photos. In the past I would load my photos into elements organizer on C drive, than also put them in folders on E drive. Each folder containing and named with the photos I just downloaded from camera memory card. I also have an external HD that these photos or backed up to. I have found several web sites that have videos for learning CS3 but none have said anything about moving photos from older PS programs to CS4 or bridge. One had some good info on bridge but I'm still not sure what I does or how to use it.
Thanks for any help.
