hi guys....

I want to create Posters of these sizes in high quality print...

45x60 inch's
60x60 inch's
48x48 inch's
60x30 inch's

I'm confused in choosing image dimensions, document sizes and resolution on the photoshop

Suggest me as to what Image size, what resolution and what Document size should i choose in photoshop....

should i use the same dimensions (listed above) in the document size of PS while creating new file, keeping resolution at 300 dpi or there is some criteria for choosing Document size, image size and resolution for taking out high quality prints in case I know the actual print size in advance...i.e.
if i Know the acutal print size then what sizes should i choose in photoshop for the image....

(my english is bad....i hope u understood the problem i'm facing)

waiting eagerly 4 d responses....

Are you making the images for the posters yourself or are you using images you already have such as Photographs?

If you are making the graphics yourself then I suggest you use Adobe Illustrator and make them in vector format so that you can print them at any size you want without losing quality.

If you are usign Photographs then I hope they are very high resolution, or else they are going to get very pixelated when you blow them up this big.

If you are making these large files at 300dpi in Photoshop and not Illustrator then I hope you have a lot of memory in your computer, you will need it :)
