image size problem

I'm a photoshop amateur so bear with me...
In Photoshop 7 I can no longer get to the "image size" dialog box.
When I click on it in the drop down menu it is as if the dialog box is up but I can't see it. I cannot do anything else in PS - and get the bonk sound if I try to click on some other part PS as if the box is open. However, the dialog box is no where to be found. If I hit Esc the invisible box seems to close and I can take other actions.
This seems to be the only tool that acts this way.
I've checked my graphic driver, reinstalled PS.
This is a relatively new problem.

Hi Rob: I've just started having exactly the same problem. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop four times, and resetting preferences, but no luck. I'm using a completely different version (CS) and operating system (Mac OSX 10.5.5), so lets hope there is some guru out there who can shed some light on this mystery Photoshop illness!

what a pain!

I had the same thing happen to me in GoLive... one of the panels was off screen. I was able to change my desktop size and grab it back though.
