Specific image sharpening or maybe redraw

Can anybody help me out?
Working on intro animated video and the best image I have to use is that here.

Video is going to be HD1080 so need this image to look good or it will let the video down badly.

Is it possible to sharpen this up? Or would it need to be re-drawn. If it will need to be re-done, does anybody fancy having a go?
With transparent background.
