Hi, I'm starting this thread because many people may learn from this thread if everyone help me out here with this thing...
so let's begin how do you pros / moderates just enhance your images ? I know it really depends on situations and subjects but let's consider the basic things like over / under exposed images and color casts and how to make images look better !!
what I do is :
1. I always add a levels adjustment layer on top of my image and set the black and white points using the eyedropper to read a bit less white and black (which gives me best contrast / Dynamic range 95% of the time)
2. I apply an unsharp filter with the following settings :
amount : 100 to 130%
radius : 1 to 1.5
threshold : 0
3. to correct bad light condition / underexposed images I just duplicate the layer and set the blending mode to screen
4. to correct overexposed images I duplicate the original layer and set the blending mode to soft light
ofcourse duplicate them as much as you like and use layer mask to mask away the bad areas in image then..
I hope it may help some noobs out there...
waiting for opinions and reviews
