Image dulling, wash out on save?

I have been running PS CS6 on MAC for a few months now, no issues.

Friday I was working on a flyer for a client and when I went to save for PDF and opened it in PDF viewer I noticed it's very faded and horrible looking. I opened a separate business card file and saved it. This is also faded and the colors are totally wrong on this file now too. It doesn't matter what format (PDF, JPEG) I am saving it in, it look awful. The thumbnail looks fine, not washed out; however, when I open it in image preview viewer it looks faded/washed out.

I have been searching for HOURS on the internet, changing color settings and re-saving the same file with no fix. This forum was my last resort before uninstalling and reinstalling CS6.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I can't help you with this; I haven't a clue, but I will think about it. I have looked to see who is on the forum right now and I don't see the names of any of our technical experts. So hang in there. Members will have replies. I hope. It's a weird issue to me. Thanks.

Thanks for your assistance!

The file is even printing faded, so it's not an isolated a screen issue.

If I "save for web" as a JPG, the colors stay just fine. If I save it as a PDF from that JPG file, the colors stay.

But, I obviously can't keep doing that for every file, haha.

I changed my PDF output to Color Conversion: Convert to Destination Destination: Working RGB - sRDGB IEC61966-2.1 and Profile Inclusion Policy: Include Destination Profile and it seems to look better/normal? Maybe I have been looking at it too much...
