I know my posts have been scarce the last 3 weeks. It's the price I pay for working 48 hours a week and college. Despite this, I finished a video I started working on last week sometime. Put it together in Aftereffects, but the assets are all individual projects from Photoshop, Aftereffects, Flash and Dreamweaver.

Welcome back Chris. Nice stuff. I think it goes too fast though. I'd like a couple seconds more on the web pages anyway. The motion graphics are cool. Just one observation. I don't know if it's meant to be but the blue orb gets very noisy on the edges. I find that distracting.

Points taken Clare. This is what I love about community type websites. Other's see things the author of something missed. I guess I could slow down the animated portion of the web pages without too much hassle. Aftereffects has a Graph Editor that essentially works the same way as Flash's Motion Editor. Within this editor is the control of speed of animations without having to change keyframes. I know it's geek technical talk here.

NP, I understand that much. I wonder if my browser (chrome) may contribute to a difference in speed . . .

Watched in firefox, same thing, a bit quick on the wep pages, try leaving the web page there for say 2-3 seconds at the end of the animation, just to give the watcher some time to see what is there?

a web browser will not the effect the speed of a video a video is usually at a set frame rate 24 or 30 Frames per second unless the user has done a custom FPS however that video will still play at whatever the frame rate of the video is.

I've noticed that some browsers run flv content much more smoothly than others. But in the case of my video, it's an issue with the keyframes. Basically, the animation is taking place too quickly because the keyframes are placed too close together in time. It's a simple fix though. I'll upload a revision soon as you you guys aren't the only ones who said that the video moves too fast. Right now though, I just want to clear my head from this damned position I took. Had a day from hell and really don't want to go back to work tomorrow. Lord please give me strength.

Anything on the blue orb? Becuase I too found it to have some annoying noise present in its edges. Was that according to design?

Not the best I've seen, but good enough I guess. I think that the entire video isn't as "whole" and cohesive as it could be which takes away from the overall impact.
