Hello all,

I've found myself in a bit of a dilemma were I need a symbol/decal whipped up into digital formats at the end of two weeks-
(I'm a luthier by trade and by starting a business recently I need a decal for head stock- which I do not have the technological means at this point in time)
I've seen the stuff that this community does and in comparison this should be a cake run hands down!
I have an image in mind and I like it, however (I guess there are always howevers on this site!) I think it looks too similar to an emoticon!
So with the image attached below I am requesting for some advice and digital remakes of the design- (and even better some suggestions to avoid kiddie looking creations in the future!)

If you could give me any advice or ideas and such, in addition to digital hi(er) resolution copy's of the concept art you would make my quarter!

No means to rush- and apologies for a long winded request and possible overkill on the FYI's

Thank you for your time

Welcome to the forum, zearful.

What kind of guitars do you create?

So this is the logo you want to re-create. Stylized or as is?

----
Thank-you, kind sir!

I have done a few of everything so far including Telecaster clones, fender strat clones, (not officially of course ;D )
I've also made a few slide guitars, ukeles and a few custom basses.

As for the logo- Advice on whether it looks to 'kiddie' would be helpful but I'm not quite sure what to tweak! I'm thinking maybe the two horizontal lines need to be either offset or something of the sort... If you think you could keep the main premise and mess around with those two uppermost lines id be more than happy to take your advice!

Hoogle, Thank you so much! This will certainly do but if you have any wisdom of how to make this possibly less 'kiddie' I'd love to hear your opinion!

Till next time-

I actually quite like the abstractness it is but without really seeing what it is to be used for it is hard to suggest improvements

Well in essence... A guitar has a headstock that is located on the smaller end of the guitar-Usually this is where you would see 'fender' in fancy calligraphy and what-not in other cases just a symbol- this is meant to be mine.

I would link you but I haven't posted enough things(5 as I remember) to enable linking and It's 2 AM so I'll hopefully help more in the morning. Thanks again for your time.
