IE9 problem loading photos

Thanks to the admin who offered to look into an issue with IE9 preventing uploads of images. I had been trying over and over to insert or upload an image to no avail. Another member mentioned having the same issue and thought it was IE9 that was the problem. I didn't like IE9 anyway so I uninstalled it and reverted back to IE8 and voila!, it worked.

So thanks for the help and I hope you can figure out what the problem is.

firefox is my primary browser but I had a similar issue with uploading videos on youtube and on this forum IE9 actually approaches flash and active x controls differently and at the moment the scripting is not available as widely. what you need to do in the address bar at the end of the address yu will see numerous icons 1 of them being a broken page. everytime you have difficulty on a page you press that button and it will store it so you only have to press it the once and it changes the compatability mode and will operate flash/shockwave/active x as if you were useing an earlier browser. I personally find IE9 a superior browser than its earlier versions once I worked that out but I am converting my ways to firefox here is a picture to show you the compatability mode

To get IE9 to work just run it in compatabilty mode for this site and you'll be fine..

Thanks for reporting the bug, I'll check it out.

Internet Explorer in general just has a lot of problems and doesn't play well with a lot of new web technologies.

Whenever possible, I would suggest everyone use a better browser like Firefox, Opera or Chrome.
