I made this yesterday and today. Most manipulations can be improved over weeks and "perfected," but I usually don't do that . . . I'll often revisit an image and see where more could be done, but unless I do it right at the time, I usually just move on. Maybe I should change that . . . someday. So critiques are welcome.

One other thing, I have a new external monitor which has more vivid greens and yellows. I have tried adjusting it, but some adjustments are available only in certain preset modes; even custom color is limited. One preset allows RGB color balance and another allows hue/sat but not color balance. Very stupid to a PS user. I am therefore using my regular monitor for color. If you are seeing outlandish greens, please let me know. Thanks a bunch.

the tree is a png; I put the BG on it so it could be seen on white. I inverted it for this composite.

Forgot one credit. The star field is mine, created during our space effects challenge last year.

Greens look fine to me. I like the composition.

The greens look good to me as well. I would have liked to have seen you shorten your foreground and give the nebula a little more room at the top, but given the reference photo you had to work with I can see where this would be a problem.
I was looking for the book....I almost missed it!

Thanks guys. I appreciate the feedback. I used the book in another work, so it was just available, but it's just a mess of pixels in this manipulation. Manipulated to nothing!

Very cool image. I did notice that below the woman with the book you can see the line from her original image! Might want to mask that out so it's not so apparent. Great job though, love the colors. The greens look fine.

the line? Like the border of the picture? That is certainly possible. Tx for the feedback Jeesica. Where have you been lately? Happy NY if I haven't seen you yet. Foggy brain here!

OK, I see it now. Thank you eagle eyes. That is from the stairway image. Yeah, I'll do that. I will fix it in my file but not sure if I'll re-post it. I have to go through such shenanigans to edit in advanced mode . . .
