Hello,

I have a question for you Photoshop gurus out there.. I use a Mac, and when I save photos from photoshop, the icon for that photo in my folder looks different than the standard photo icons.. There is a screenshot of exactly what I'm referring to included in this post.. Any way I can make the icon saved from photoshop the same as the one not saved in photoshop?

Thanks in advance!

is it saved in psd format? if so the isons usually change depending on the file format, for example i believe PNG's do not have the border whereas JPEG's do.

Images with the white borders are previews that are created by OS X. As image files are added/downloaded, OS X searches for a custom icon associated to the file, if not present, it creates a preview surrounded by a white border.

Images without a white border are custom icons created by an application that overrides the preview OS X creates for the original file.

My question is, why does the border trouble you?
