I want to move the Texture of a Cherry to this symbol. Help if you can.

Alright so I want to move either of these 2 Cherry textures.


To this symbol.


How easy do you think this would be? And how could it be done?

Create a new file and put the cherry and the symbol on 2 separate layers, the symbol should be the top later.
Mask what you don't want on the symbol and the cherry will show in it's place.

Thank you for your response. I am going to practice with masking and such. I will have to post the finished deal at some point in the show and tell portion of the board.

Or if you just want it shiny and red, you could do a really deep emboss and manually put some sweet highlights on it.

And the Dark Cherry is a gif file, which means you can't unlock it without pulling it into MSPaint and coverting it to a JPG. Bah

Yes you can, goto Image> Mode> and change it..
