I have been trying to figure this out for a week or so but i cant. I created a logo in photoshop it is NOT a font! I am wanting to add a slight arch to it. I know i can do that with the text tool but like i said it isnt a font. how do i do this? I have attached a copy of the logo as it is right now. if you cant help please do!

It's pretty simple, actually. Open your image, go to Edit > Transform > Warp and at the top in the drop down box where it says Warp: Custom, change Custom to Arch! You can adjust the amount of the effect by dragging the outlining box down.

Here's my result that took a couple of seconds.

If you created this yourself, it isn't text, then I don't think you can use the text tool to arch it. You are actually dealing with an image here, not a font as you say.

Use the edit>transform>warp tool. As you bring down the sides, move the guides down so you can line them up. If this just doesn't create the right shape for you, consider making the arch you want with the pen tool and using that as a guide for warping the baseline.

Well Jessicayla, that is something I didn't know about transforming. Tx for sharing!

So I stand corrected, those are the same shapes as word art, though any adjustments are manual as opposed to mathematical when using the text tool.
