Hey! Can someone explain me how do I get that effect around the player ? The fragments flying around.. all those little pieces .. is it a texture, brush.. where do I get them? :)

To get the effect on the left, I used a brush set called Dry Media brushes and one out of that set Pastel Medium Tip. This is not identical but I simply put a new layer on, applied the brush in white and then Transformed the layer (Ctrl T) and stretched it out a bit. Then I lowered the opacity of the layer. You can use a lot of different brushes to do it, but I doubt it is a one step process. This is not identical as I am just trying to show you what is possible.

Here in this example, I isolated the player using the Quick selection tool and then I created a mask from this selection. With the selection active, I blurred the background.
I then added the yellow lights by creating a new layer, using the Rectangular Marquis tool to create a slender column, then filling it with yellow. I duplicated this layer 4 times and merged them. I then rotated them using transform. I then blurred them significantly, I then cmd + clicked the mask I had made previously and created a created a new mask for the bars.
On a new layer(s) I then used the above mentioned shards brush to create the shards. I varied the size, color, and opacity.
On several new layers I added the white soft brush strokes, again with varied sizes and opacities.

It's not exact but it's close for a rushed example.
