3D i need help

my friend and i are doing a competition on who can make the best background. My friend made an awesome background and now its my turn. can anyone help me find an tutorial or make one on creating background using C4D and photoshop. im fairly experienced in photoshop and im alright at C4D. please help, my reputation is at stake>_<

pretty much anything but maybe something like abstract or grung or dark themed picture but i really dont care aslong as its good

Not to be rude, but if it's a competition, wouldn't a tutorial be cheating? Kind of defeats the purpose right?

thankyou for the links but im looking for a tutorial on makeing wall paper not textures but im probally gonna use it as a background for the wall paper.
