With nothing in particular in mind today, I made this. This one is so going on my astronomy website. Of course I
have to do an After Effects version of this so stay tuned.

Ouu it is great.. but.. i dont know how to tell it.. i would make it "smoother".. for me this is to "sharp" if you know what i mean..but you said you will need to do some more work on it ;)

Well, you guys would be surprised at the clarity in which After Effects can render video or user-created animation.

i am saying about now, when you finish it then we will talking if it is better ;)

It's supposed to be extra noisy. The plan is to have the swirly vortex animate so fast that it looks like stars being sucked into a black hole, or vacuum if you will. Making static graphics is one thing, but when one wants to do something else with those static graphics it's important to consider every little detail. Believe me fellows, this is a lesson I've had to learn time and time again.

Animated version is rendering..... This file is going to be huge, but that's ok by me. Learned a few new techniques with After Effects on how to animate a vortex dynamically instead of using a hundred keyframes.

hey nice to hear that.... can't wait to see it actualy lol. But take your time and blow us away with the ultimate universe movie :)

greets dreamerssss.........

Very good mate, i noticed a line down the middle, what is that? also the earth gets cut off a little how come mate?
I don't do this sort of thing so curious is all.

Ok, the line down the middle is something I noticed as well. This is happening with the effect I used to make the "vortex". Essentially, the graphic is made with something called CC Cylinder. It wraps itself around the X axis to make the circular shape that you see. Now the planet being cut off where it is is my mistake. It was animated as a separate composition with its own stage dimensions. I refer to stage dimensions in this case to mean the same thing as canvas dimensions in Photoshop, Artboard dimensions in Illustrator, Stage as it is called in Flash. basically it's the viewing area that the user sees. Moving on here. The planet is animated in real 3 dimensional space within After Effects. But I screwed up moving the planet around on the Y and Z axis respectively. My only real regret with this animation is not including audio. I do have one that would be perfect but it jacks the file size up to around 300MB. The video you're watching is only 100MB.

hey very nice done  thumbs up for that.

Also I watched the "Ominous water and wheater" video, realy nice one too :)

I did mis the sound, but as you mention there is none, I actualy put my headphone on and went checking if it was plugged in correctly and stuff lol.
But isn't it possible to add a mp3 music? Because a mp3 would be small and still good to work with..... just a thought.

Anyway,. good videoooo...

Greets,
Dreamers.

alright you guys convinced me to put audio in there. Yes mp3's are small and I can do things to cut down on the file size. Give it time though. Making up a new Flash video interface to put on my portfolio site as I have some video's that need to go on it.
