I"m new & have a ??

I am working in photoshop and using the brush tool, all was fine, then I accidentally hit a button, in the lower left corner, after I did that, I was unable to see the diameter of my brush. The only thing I see is a crosshair and no matter what size I change my brush too, the crosshair remains the same. This is extremely frustrating and I would like it to change back.

Any ideas????

It was the shortcut key you hit to toggle diameter size and crosshairs -- CAPS LOCK.
