i have a jpeg image and want to remove white background...


Hi All,


As the topic description says i would like to remove the white background of a jpeg image, preferbly transparent.

Anyone knows how to accomplish this, if this is not possible because i read somewhere jpeg doesn't support transparency is there any option to trace the contour of the image that i have and in a way cut away the white background ending up with the image.

I hope someone can help me out on this one

NOte-I am not using photoshopy software ....I am working on software project which is in zk , for that i need to add one logo.


I have posted this thread earlier , but they suggested me to take help of Photoshopy Guru so i am expecting the same from u all .


can any one help me to remove the white background image of logo.

You can use the magic Wand tool to select all the white and then just remove it. If you need a transparent background, then save theimage as a PNG (Portable Network Graphics) and this can be used anywhere you like with a transparent background.

can u plzzz do this for me and send me the image... as we are not using magic Wand tool and any other related to photo modificatios.

However if you are going to put it on a dark background it will look terrible as the picture is so low resolution you may want to have the logo remade

As per my agenga is, i am preaparing one login screen and i want to add this logo on that.I am working on java (software language) .

First time i am working on editing of images . i am totally unaware of this photoshopy.


So plz help me . I guess u have understand my problm and suggest me better image for my login page

well you either want the company logo or you dont Surely someone has a better quality image somewhere

If you know what font the heading text and the smaller text is then no problem recreating it even with that custom X

Hi Hoogle, I have strted to create tthe above two web pages

1)Login page- Its not a final screen , its just a start . u can suggest me better ideas to create this page and add logo .Alos u can suggest me the color of background .


2) In second Picture two tables are fixed but i need to do a fininshing for this page and want to add logo in header . Here u can do small change in logo like Font size . Or atleast give me the best picture which u like in which u can change whatever u want like font , text format color, background page change .So that i can use may b on the same page or different page.



Note:I want the screen should b look very professional.

As I said Remaking the logo higher resolution would help

Here is a PNG of a remake not exactly the same was not sure if you had 2 different shades of blue on text on purpose but I made them the same.

In which format i have to open this file??...because first time i am seeing this .ai file.


For this do we need any software

it is adobe illustrator Sorry I assumed you have it. then use the PNG in the previus post to the 1 with the illustrator file in
 
Thanks a lot hooger , it looks very nice on login page.


but on the second page as its background is too dark , so its getting problm at the time of reading.


can u plz convert the logo (UCX ) in to white only (IS it possible to do such a changes in png, paint format ??)....plz see the below example .

it would be vector if the OP had software to open the vector file instead it a vector exported as a png
