I can't use Helvetica font in Photoshop?

I have various Helvetica fonts installed on my computer. In Word, Publisher, etc. The first Helvetica font in the family displayed in these programs is simply called "Helvetica".

But in Photoshop, the first displayed Helvetica font is instead "Helvetica CE" including its variants such as bold, black, etc.

How can I get the "regular" Helvetica font that is the first one in the drop-down menu in Word, etc. to work also in Photoshop?

I think Adobe CC has it, but you'll need the premium $30 package to get it. Other than that, I've read that Ariel font is the closest substitute. I'm making an assumptions there are no free downloads, as it is copyrighted.
