i am trying new elipes tool see below layer comes with effect.wt i do?

quick thing i always do for this is to duplicate the shape layer, shift and click the other shape layer right click and press "merge layers" it rasterizes the shape and effects if you don't want said effects, there's this doohicky here:
change the box to show a white square with a red line through it, the next time you draw a shape no effects will be added.
