HTML as a layer?

Hello,

I'm facing a bit of a challenge in that the site hosting my company's website will allow either all HTML or image upload for our header banner. I tried to just replace the image link in the html with one of the new banners I made, but it blows it up bigger than the actual img file. There's also a Live Help tag in the existing banner. When I changed the img link and added the new banner it seems to be covering the Live Help tag.

In any event I wondered if there was some way to embed the html code for the tag in a layer of the banner so I could just upload the banner as an image and have the Live Help tag show up? It may end up that I need an HTML guru and not a PS one, but never hurts to ask. :)

I tried to post a rather lengthy and detailed explanation yesterday when I registered and I linked to the company site in case someone needed to see what I was referring to with the live help thing, but got the message I needed 5 posts and wham - detailed post gone :( Live and learn I guess.

Would be the tag for placing an image in it would be the a case of positioning it. It is very possible from what I can tell you are asking it is not to clear what you are asking for really. That is how to source an image from anywhere you wish inside the HTML. If it is used on the web the image must be uploaded either to the server or linked from another uploaded area. Having it on the server would be a lot easier.
