Making hands and fingers longer in photos? I know how to use the bloat tool to make them wider, but I have no clue how to make them longer. Any help would be appreciated.

use the marquee tool make a square selection around the hand go to edit copy then edit paste on the new layer it would have created use the move tool and free transform to stretch it a bit more and reposition the box to where you want your fingers to end add a layer mask using a soft brush fade it back in to the original image.

Another way, quick and a little crude but can be made to look nice is filter and then liquify then forward warp

In your position i would use the clone stamp tool.

Presuming you have CS5, select the hand and copy it to a new layer, then use puppet warp.

I would also recommend the puppet wart - that tool is incredible, just takes a bit of practice and maybe watch a tutorial.
