how was this done? (face on dog)


Two shots both with the same lighting conditions. Then the eyes and mouth are dropped in - with heavy masking. Color adjustments would also be made so that the two images "fit" together.

The most important thing is that the light in both picures has to be coming from the same direction.
 
No idea who did this, but HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! This is :bustagut: great!!!!
 
You could also paste the two images into the same canvas and use a clone brush with the opacity turned down a bit and draw right over the dog's features. (you'd probably have to blank out the dogs eyes first with a paint brush to make it blend well.)
