Hi community and gurus,

I want to retouch an image making the floor seamless as there is a joint patch on the wooden floor visible in the attaches seamless picture for your reference. I have also attached an original image as well. I need to to know only the technique by which it can be done. A help from guru is appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hello and welcome to PSG.

Do your know how to use the Clone Stamp Tool?

hi thanks IamSam for the reply. I tried the clone stamp but cant get the smooth seamless pattern cloned on planks as there is a joint in every plank of wood, or i have to retouch whole planks top to bottom, I want a very clean finish. your help is appreciated

Here's one way.

I used the "borrowing" technique.

I borrowed one floor panel (red area) and moved it over to one that I felt it would match.
I used the Polygonal Lasso Tool to define the panel.
I then duplicated the panel to it's own layer using Cmd/Cntrl + J

I used the Move Tool to move the panel over.
I used Free Transform to flip the image and warp to shape it.
I defined the area that I wanted to constrain the work to with the Polygonal Lasso Tool.

I then used the Clone Stamp Tool to blend the two panels.

Mind you, I worked fast for the demo, you take your time.

You can use the Brush Tool to really clean up seams.
