How to scan and affix signature to a photo


Hi

You need to isolate the text on it's own layer, open your scanned document
There are various methods you could use, if for example the scanned doc has a white BG you could use the color range tool to either select the white and invert the selection or select the text with the same tool and hit CTRL + J to copy that to new layer, then just drag the text into the landscape photo

If you want to save the signature, save it as a PNG with transparent background

Hey. As Ged stated, there are many ways to accomplish this.

I have alwyas used a signature made into a Ps brush.
Here's a great video showing one way this can be done.
